WordSpire is a vocabulary game for Android, published by Pluto Studio.
This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it does not collect any.
Nothing.
WordSpire has no accounts, no sign-in, no servers and no analytics. It requests no Android permissions at all — including no internet permission, which means the app is technically incapable of sending anything anywhere. It does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, advertising identifier, or any other personal or device identifier.
The app saves your progress locally so the game can continue where you left it. This data stays in the app’s private storage on your phone and is not readable by other apps:
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
If you have Android Backup switched on in your device settings, Android may copy the app’s saved data to your own Google Drive account so it can be restored when you set up a new phone. This is a feature of the Android operating system, not of WordSpire. The backup belongs to your Google account, is covered by Google’s privacy policy, and the developer of WordSpire has no access to it. You can turn it off in your device’s backup settings.
WordSpire can read a sentence aloud when you press the speaker button on a prompt. It never speaks on its own. Speech is produced by the text-to-speech engine already installed on your device, which is separate software governed by its own privacy policy — on most phones this is Google’s, and it can typically speak the languages in this app without a network connection. WordSpire does not record audio and does not request microphone access.
WordSpire collects no data from anyone, children included. There is nothing to delete, because nothing is gathered in the first place.
The current version of WordSpire contains no advertising, no analytics and no in-app purchases.
If a future version of the app adds anything that handles data — for example Google Play Games sign-in and leaderboards, or advertising — this policy will be updated to describe it before that version is released, and the “Last updated” date above will change.
